The 16-posture standard routine is a beginner routine introduced by Yang Zhenduo in 2006. It is not as symmetrical as the "Beijing 16 Form", but it maintains a level of difficulty appropriate for beginners and seniors.What it surrenders in terms of symmetry it compensates for in variation. None of the movements are repeated.
